A painting for a friend

What a privilege to have a friend to support you in your new ventures! This painting was done for a dear, old friend while she was visiting a week ago. Now, a little bit of me is at home with her.

I love the simplicity of one apple staring you in the face. This was especially enjoyable to paint knowing that it was going to a good home.
